About Widderstein Stables -- Breeding

Widderstein Stables is a small boutique agistment and breeding property in the Hills District operated by Maree and Simon Bradatsch. Our aim is to provide quality boutique agistment facilities in the Hills District so that both horse and rider can enjoy a stress free safe and happy environment. Maree's focus is also on breeding top quality warmbloods. Although only a small breeding barn, Maree hopes to expand this in the future. Our goal is to be able to offer our clients the opportunity to purchase international quality dressage horses. Our breeding program aims to produce horses with enough natural talent and quality to compete with the best in the world. It is with great research that we strive to keep improving the standard of the Australian Bred Warmbloods so that they are able to stand up to competition both with in Australia and overseas. Our aim is to breed top quality young-stock of which the best broodmare and stud combination are sourced locally and overseas to produce the perfect offspring. Maree's research includes the collaboration of years experience in the dressage arena with access to high quality resources in the warmblood breeding industry. Her main focus is on both broodmare and stallion's movement and trainability which are vitally important in determining how their offspring are likely to perform.
